There are 4 romances in DAO:
Alistair (male, Warrior Templar, picked up at Ostagar, mandatory) - for females aka straight
Morrigan (female, Mage Shapeshifter, picked up at Ostagar, mandatory but can drive away) - for males aka straight
Zevran (male, Rogue Assassin, picked up after a main quest after Lothering, optional) - for males and females aka bi
Leliana (female, Rogue Bard, picked up at Lothering, optional) - for males and females aka bi

There's a mod called: Equal Love, with that mod you can romance Alistair as a male and romance Morrigan as a female
