DA:O Stone Prisoner not showing up - NOT ULTIMATE EDITION

I bought this game back in 2012 or so, was able to get Shale then and had a lot of fun with it. Thought I'd give it another go, started it up, and no sign of the Stone Prisoner quests.

I've already tried downloading the DLC from EA's site and installing it manually. It now shows up in-game as "activated" but still doesn't actually do anything.

Again: I DON'T HAVE THE ULTIMATE EDITION, nor am I willing to shell out more money just to get the one thing I care about that I already got FOR FREE years ago.

launch from origin I guess since you got it from them may be easy for game to reconize.

Otherwise suggest forum search or think guide, as dlc not working been answered many times (though typically about steam bought).

I had the same issue before and what I'm missing is the other file. To make the DLC work you need to download 2 files. For Shale DLC you should download both DAO_PRC_CP_2 and DAO_PRC_OCP_2.

Hi mister a bit late for reply sorry, but that problem happens both on the prisoner of stone and the return to ostargar and it is because for some strange reason in the ins of the dlc the offers files do not come, those you have to download in this link

Find and download the DAO_PRC_OCP 1 (The Stone Prisoner) and DAO_PRC_OCP 2 (only if you have Return To Ostagar) dazip files and the ins with the daoupdater with this it should work for you and the corresponding quest appear

I’m having issues as well, I went through all the steps to manually install the dlc and in game menu shows all dlc as “installed”. However, when playing shale control rod merchant never shows and the other one trying to catch up when you set up camp does not activate. I know it’s 2023, but can someone help?

As this previous reply says you need to install the offer files located below the first list of installs. The dlcs will show as installed in game but will not work without these files installed.
