Blood dragon armor
I bought the standard version, is there no way to get the blood dragon armor? If so how?

Get origin, copy your cdkey there to unlock your game in that account, then click on "extra content" tab, select the blood dragon armor and unlock it.
I dunno if you have to pay for it or if it's free, since I bought the ultimate edition, which comes with every single dlc.

Ok so if I bought it in steam I can play it in origin without buying the game again?

Yes, you need to activate your cdkey there first, then origin will unlock DA:O in your library.
I did that with ME.

I know Im a little late to the question here, but I did as you said. But can I play the game from steam and still have the BD armor? Or can I only get that armor if I play on origin?

You need to install it from origin, since the dlcs will be installed on origin game folder, however you can direct the launcher from a non steam game and play it on steam, although DA:O doesn't requires drm to launch. (although in order to unlock the achievements permanently you'll need to log in in your origin account inside the game.)

Oh dear lord. Im not gonna install an exact copy of the same game twice. Looks like I dont get BD armor =/

Why don't you install it on origin and unistall it on steam? Just make sure to backup your save game. (As long you paste your save on the right file when origin's is installed, I guess it will work fine.)

Anyways, it doesn't eat much hard drive space, your choice anyhow.

Because I dont like Origin, is there just a file I can manually download like the other addons?

The only place that you can get it legally it's from origin, I don't know any other means.

Can't figure out how to get the BD armour, but was able to get all my old DLC back through logging in and getting https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games, using daupdater.exe to load the dazip files
