Maybe the online servers were brought offline, not sure
I think i was able to login but i had to keep force clicking tell it finally logged me in, i think anywas, was a pain
I just spent an hour and 45 minutes on EA help chat..
EA Support Said "Spore is now a sunset game, which means its services are no longer available. However, when players purchase the game on Steam, we'll assist them in adding it to their EA account."
I had to send a screenshot of my Steam Purchase history, and a screenshot of an Email of that purchase acknowledgment (lucky i still had since I got the game in May 2009) so they can add Spore to my Origin Account and play it there, Where everything seems to work, you can Login and use all Spore Features.
it sucks, and its so dumb, but if you want to login and use the game.. you might need to jump through some Hoops
