Similar games?
So, I'm kinda looking for a "military simulator/tycoon" type of game. Basically a game that focuses mostly on building a base, hiring and training soldiers, buying equipment, making sure those soldiers can get to where they need to be for the mission, etc. This game is kinda it (Though more fleshed out logistics for troop transport and buying/manufacturing weapons with military contractors and that sort of stuff would be cool) so I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything similar.

One of the best games in the genre ever made.
(A tip is to look up on how to change the files so you can have many more troops, instead of 200 men you can change it to 400 men etc, as the basic game feels a bit limited when you've reached a certain point in the game.) :D
The sequel, alas not as good as the first, but still good, let you have even more minions in your base by default :D

The game was balanced around the amount of troops. I have no doubt they did this because of the limitations of the PCs of the time but managing your empire with the amount you have is a big part of the game. Upping the limit is simply cheating.

Balanced and balanced, I'd say it removes a lot of headache with the limits if you up the numbers of men. Kinda like upping the weight limit you can carry in games like Skyrim.
You do it so the game becomes more fun, but if you prefer to be over-encumbered in Skyrim 24/7 or have fewer men in Evil Genius then thats totally okay, you play as you want to :)
I just want to point out for new gamers like Luzilyo that there is options how to play it :)
Yes. Options like playing a game of chess and distracting your opponent just enough so he don't notice that you moved a piece one square to the left.

Moving on...

You compare a game you play against another player with a single player game.. Brilliant.
Yeah, you best move on. :D

Exogate was fun. It is similar with more of a Stargate theme.
