Sandbox cannot come soon enough!

I just finished my first full play through, which was my 2nd attempt at the game. I can already see the patterns for what is needed to finish it again with more efficiency. There is only so many times it can be replayed, particularly with such a simple linear story line.

Bring on the sandbox! I want variety and to be challenged to come up with unique and increasingly difficult scenarios! (This will require a more than 100 unit max though)

Adding this mode should be a higher priority than a lot of the rest of the road map. It lets us early players really put the game through its paces. Really stress test it.

After two full playthroughs can't wait for it either, but I think devs are on the right track with the roadmap, self-sufficiency buildings/jobs will be important for any further game balance changes and from my limited experience I think it will be better to work on the missions framework now and make the sandbox version later, rather than push out sandbox now and risk that big chunk of work will be for nothing if missions change enough to warrant a total rework.

This is still early access, squeezing all the hours out of the game isn't exactly top priority right now, judging by the roadmap they want to do majority of the work really early on anyway, and mostly dedicate Summer to finetuning and customization.

Thank you for your comments (and playthrough). Sandbox, challenge mode and new biomes are coming during early access period, with lots of additional content Have a little patience, this very month you will be able to enjoy enhanced missions, that add a new layer of gameplay to the game.

Hi guys.

I'm here to bring you good news. Yesterday we finally released the snadbox mode. It's been hard work but thank you for your patience and for your desire to try it.

We have two game modes in it, 10 different maps and a lot of options to customize your game so I hope you enjoy it and it will give you many hours of gameplay.

Don't hesitate to leave us your opinion when you play it and if you like it and you haven't played it yet, you know that positive reviews help a lot ;)

PS: the limit of soldiers in the camp has been doubled as well as the increase of maximum buildings. We hope it will be enough :D
