Need For Speed Undercover Patch dont Work [SOLVED]

I try to install the newest patch "v.1.0.1.18" for the Steam Version of this game, but it gives me the error "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."
I have tryed all available patches, but no patch work. Can anybody help me ? I think im not the only guy who have problems patching this game, since i heared that the Steam Version is not updated and the "Challenge Series" is missing.

P.S: I have tryed to activate Need For Speed Undercover at Origin, but it gives me the error: "This Key is already in use". Contacted the EA Support but still got no answer..

Did someone found a solution ? Because I bought from steam NFSUC yesterday... I Heard about a manual patch but Can't seem to find the files on the net...can someone help me ?

The manual patch files are not available because the link is down, maybe i can send you the manual files because i have now the Origin version of this game and this version is updated.

I have the Steam Version too, you can find your Origin Key for Need For Speed Undercover in the registry (just open regedit.exe) located at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Need For Speed Undercover\ergc

Double Click on the file inside the "ergc" folder and copy the key. Then try to activate this key on Origin.

Well..sry bad english, i tried to do that (contact ea support) and they just refuse to give me a new key..i remenber i did it with shift 2 unleashed (yeah...i launched the game on steam ) and it works but i didt have luck now :/

You must enter a EA Live Chat Session. Dont make a ticket to the EA Support because they will not answer you. Dont close the tab, it takes about 50 minutes to connect to a Supporter. Then the Supporter will ask about the security question of your account. Just say: "Please send me a verifycode to my email account". Give him the verification code that he sent you to your email. Then he will ask you about your Key. Just give him the Steam Key that you got from the registry.

Important: Before you connect to a Supporter, make a Proof Picture !
That means: Make a picture where you have the game at steam, entering the code at Origin but it fails. Upload the Proof Picture and send the Picture the Supporter. He will check if the key is activated on your Origin account. When its not, he will give you a new key.

I have the latest version, etherything works on the patch, just I'm missing the challenger series... anyone got the same problem?

i got this problem too until i asked the EA Live Chat for a Origin Key of Need for speed undercover, you need the origin version of this game to access the challenger series
