Need help game literally won't work

hi! i bought this game quite a few months ago but have never been able to play it because of the game engine bug. i love the devs behind these games so id appreciate any help. the problem is that when i launch the game, it's a completely black screen with only audio. easy fix with nvidia, right? well, i dont have nvidia geforce control pannel on my computer. i have a nvidia drriver IN MY COMPUTER, but for some reason it's not the one that's selected for use by my computer itself. in other games i can select it through in-game settings (like in rainbow 6) but i don't know if it actually does anything. please help ;-;

i can't because nvidia control panel won't work. when i try to open it, it just says "cannot open because of selected driver" or something like that. my computer is set to the base intel driver, but my computer also came with a nvidia driver too. i don't know how to switch drivers let alone fix the problem without nvidia control panel
