No Pekora, really?

I understand its the Dev's decision to put whatever characters in the game they want but featuring the relatively unpopular as of late Aki, and Ayame and the graduated Coco over Pekora who's been one of the faces of Hololive's streaming since shortly after her debut seems strange. I wouldn't be so put off by it except that she's still not in HoloCure either.

Pekora is already not just in the game files but also hinted in the trailer as the next character

Lets simply put it like this Falcon, all the talents are great but you cant have them all, even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hololive collabs dont have all the talents involved. If you saw the credits rolls, there were also Ina fans in the dev team but Ina is just cameos in the game; how you think they feel about it?. They probabbly dont mind it much but why should you this much then?

If the talents were picked just by popularity, then you would never see other talents in fan made games. Holocure is a fan game going quiet the mile by adding more and more characters overtime but nobody is forcing or deman- oh hi Kaela, yeah ID is comming soon....

My favorite is Ame, her 2 assists while cool, do not fit my playstyle, I also came here expecting to play Sora but her setplay and some of her normals are something I dont play. Did that change my opinion of the game?, it did not, I simply played what felt the most comfortable for me as a fighitng game player and enjoy and appreciate the content in the game.

You must be new in the rabbit hole then, Korone is the biggest retro gamer in the agency with pretty long endurance streams. Coco is the one that caused the big boom to expand Hololive worldwide (along the chad clippers who translated JP to EN). Sora is the OG, without her determination and commitment to the idol agency, Hololive wouldn't be where it is today, she and Suisei might be the ones that best fit the "idol" ideology of Hololive imo.

I could tell you about the rest but honestly, they all have their own talents and special attributes, you just need time to get to known them better. Fubuki and Matsuri got me into this rabbit hole with their "Im scatman" and "Baby shark" silly yet cute videos; and I regreat nothing.

You can look at the analytics and see how the company's spike in popularity was very tied in to Gen 3 with Pekora being one of the main factors especially at initially reaching a western audience. She streams every day and gets big views for last 3 years. I found it very odd that this dev seemed to prioritize JP over EN characters and yet still skipped Pekora. Maybe its just a way to have post launch hype at saving Pekora and Gura for later.

Seems to me that you're just a numberf@g who's obsessed on just big hololive members and doesn't care about the rest. Also it's not odd at all. It's a freaking free game. Devs will do what they want to put and add in their game. They can add Nene, Flare and Choco for all I care. It's not just about "muh numbers".

eh, i honestly never see anything about coco,fubuki, or miko get recommended in my YT feed, which is how i find new vtubers. sure other people are the same.

She's the worlds #1 female streamer in watchtime.
She wasn't in the Azur Lane Collab (Fair cause it was way back before her debut).
Isn't in holocure yet.
Wasn't a launch char in this game yet Gen 4 characters and >1 million sub girls are.

A dev for this game should've started with ok Sora's the OG, Fubuki built the streaming culture, Pekora caused the popularity to soar, Coco built the EN fanbase.
Those 4 are like the mount rushmore. He got 3/4 but Pekora got slighted as always.
