No Pekora, really?

I understand its the Dev's decision to put whatever characters in the game they want but featuring the relatively unpopular as of late Aki, and Ayame and the graduated Coco over Pekora who's been one of the faces of Hololive's streaming since shortly after her debut seems strange. I wouldn't be so put off by it except that she's still not in HoloCure either.

Meseki i do see that now and maybe i need to chill I just don't know why she just seems to get slighted on every fan project. You can look at the analytics and see how the company's spike in popularity was very tied in to Gen 3 with Pekora being one of the main factors especially at initially reaching a western audience. She streams every day and gets big views for last 3 years. I found it very odd that this dev seemed to prioritize JP over EN characters and yet still skipped Pekora. Maybe its just a way to have post launch hype at saving Pekora and Gura for later.

Aki_flinch I'm not being disrespectful. I get people have their own Oshi and 750k subs for Aki is nothing to sneeze at in the grand scheme of things its just that Pekora has carried the company up a lot, and not having her at launch feels like a void. Put your own bias aside for a minute and look at the overall situation of the company.

I mean you do come off quite rude when you say stuff like you said about Aki. I have members I like more than other but I dont go say stuff like that about other talents just because I want my favorites to be in the game at launch. Have some patience and some manners.

You are being disrespectful though, man. You pick on holos that often go under-represented like Aki and Ayame because the perpetually popular Pekora isn't immediately there as a playable character. Why should it be a popularity contest? Have you considered just what Pekora's fighting style would look like? She's a manipulator and a prankster that avoids direct confrontation. It's going to stretch someone's imagination pretty hard to give her a unique fighting style worthy of her popularity while sticking to her character traits. Think about the logistics behind what you're asking instead of hiding behind the arbitrary argument that she deserves representation because she's popular.

Im a big fan of Aki actually. But a Hololive game without pekora is like a Destiny's child game without Beyonce, or Nsync without Justin Timberlake. Think about this from her perspective too she always supports these fan games and yet always gets slighted.

From her perspective she is probably thrilled that a fan game with her friends came out. Of course she is gonna hope she will be a character in the game. But i would think that goes for all of the girls.
