Future of the game / Addtional characters?

Any info on whether dev would implement character creation system or accepting new character design?

Pekora is in the framedata folder already and you can hear her laughing at the end of the launch trailer, so it's pretty clear they're adding her next. There are two other characters planned for release as well. I don't know anything else about it.

Given how large Hololive is, and Roberu (Holostars) being present in the campaign, I believe there are many characters they will slip into the development cycle in the future. Unless Cover invests in them and this project becomes professional or something, one should assume the rest of the characters will be free as per the conditions in the derivative work guidelines.

yes, the Hololive fan base is huge, therefore I thought it might help if they can leverage fan's creativity by creating tools that make adding new character become more accessible. Some example are rivals of aether, or Fraymakers.

In terms of the other characters, I'd assume we would get an EN one and an ID one for representation. Most likely Gura or Calli, and then maybe Kobo or Ayunda.

god I hope holostars aren't actually playable characters really don't like any of em they feel dull compared to any of the female hololivers honestly we need haachama as a playable character and spiderchama as a assist

naa and yagoo isn't a holostar no joke would love to see him in especially since according to the hololivers hes actually rather entertaining from all they said about him

but seriously the holostars are bland they actively have barely any personality especially when compared to all of the female cast

also pretty sure males aren't idols I can't remember what male idols are called but its not idols from what I remember

yeah sorry you don't watch them enough, please expand your knowledge about them. Idol can be male or female, Yagoo himself say holostars is idol male vtuber.
