Others have already explained what you do, but how you do it is something you stop thinking about once you have enough experience, so I'll say how I do it, which is I do it in a motion similar to tapping your fingers in rhythm like this:

I usually just have dedicated fingers for every movement key (I also recommend binding "up" to a key your thumb can press, like space if you're using wasd) but if I'm choking my inputs a lot, I move my index and middle fingers from S and D to A and S to do the motion then move them back.
The answer is yes, you can do them easily. If you can't it's entirely skill issue.
