Ayame - Agressive short-mid range
Botan - She has it all, zoner, combo heavy, awesome spacing
Coco - As you could tell - is a grappler
Fubuki - Shoto, balanced in her tools and moves
Korone - Same as Fubuki but even more aggressive
Sora - Zoner with lots of setplay
Suisei - Hazama of this game...nah, just kidding, people say she is a rushdown with lots of useful moves to break her opponent
Most of the terms are from the forums and Dustloop
There will be a few new characters in the future so maybe something will fit your idea of a bruiser more.
Aki: Long-range with close-range teleport mixups, high skill ceiling
Ayame: "Honest" rushdown frametrap character, strong defense and whiff punish game
Botan: Huge combo damage, otherwise does a little of everything (doesn't have "awesome spacing")
Coco: Rushdown grappler, surprisingly good normals, difficult to play
Fubuki: Does everything well, well-rounded
Korone: Similar to Fubuki, but trades her better neutral for high-risk, high damage offense
Sora: Setplay/trap zoner, very good normals
Suisei: Command grab mixup character with strong normals, think Sol or May
