Why is steam selling this when it's F2p through the website?

The trial is F2P. It still costs 15$ a month for a full subscription. 50% off a subscription is a pretty good deal to me.

Maybe, but I've heard the game is pretty empty. A year ago, they had 350,000 subscribers left.

i just bought the half off subscription and have been playing for 4 days and so far it has been worth it. plus you can buy the half off 1 month subscription and play the F2P before you activate your free month

This game NEEDS to be free to play. With how few people still play this they are doing a diservice to those still playing by not opening it up.

the first tier is f2p, those that actually like the game pay the monthly and play in the real fights. Even today after my break from the game due to military moving my around. I am getting into large fights in the later tiers.

I played this when it first came out and was bustling.... Few years ago I came back to a barren waste lands.... I needs to be F2P at this point.
