High defense build + Retaliate +1 Bonus damage + Retaliate +1 max HP = Broken

I just finished a run where I was able to get my defense so high that some attacks would do less than 1 damage to me. I paired this with curses: "Retaliate: Permanently Generates +1 Max HP" and "Retaliate: Permanently Deals +1 Bonus Damage". So essentially I was able to infinitely gain HP and attack damage by simply letting a weaker enemy continuously attack me over and over.

This combo of curses made the game easy mode. Anyone else manage to make a build like this?

Also, this build is broken, but this is not intended as a bug post. The devs may have intended for builds like this to be possible.

i got +500 attack with identical build and oneshoted final boss with one frenzy bee attack

Does this stack, do you know? I got this yesterday and then it appeared again. Did not take not because didn't know if it stacks.
