Cloak attack?

It says "press Y or B" but I have a PS4 controller for one, and for two the corresponding buttons are remapped to interact and dash respectively. Is cloak attack the super thing that uses the purple gauge between your weapons?

So cloak are the two slots under the scythe in the top left that you can freely change with other things within a run. You get two things to hold, either two weapons, two spells, or one of each, and those are your cloak attacks. Anything that effects cloak attacks effects those two attacks or spells.

I sort of figured that out... Though, are you sure cloak attacks affect spells and not just the weapons? I think spells are spells, and cloak attacks are the hammers/daggers/swords/etc.

you have the Scythe / Cloak / Pit book ( Main attack / Weapons / Spells respectively) Cloak buffs do not buff spells, they buff the weapons only.
