Issues with controller

Anyone else having issues with a controller in the game?

Streamer was able to get past the "Press A" screen but beyond that the game doesn't recognize it.

He tried an Xbox One, Switch, and a 3rd party one.

YES! I am having the same issue. I have been troubleshooting for the past 30 minutes and no luck.

Having same problem with my Xbox1 controller. I can get passed the "Press Any Button" screen, but anything after that does not read my controller input

I fixed mine. Do you have an external device that the game could think is a controller? I have some foot pedals that I use (for voice chat, muting, etc.) This was causing the game to not recognize my controller. Once I unplugged it, it worked

yes I also have a problem with walking, in fact i can only move by pressing R2 and can't jump

Someone found the fix.
Streamer had a foot pedal plugged in.

Check to see if you have a device being detected as an input device.

You are a legend my guy! I did have something plugged in that was eating my controller inputs. You just saved my day! Thank you.

I am able to navigate through the menu now, but once the dude gets out of the elevator my controller stops working

Try using the analog stick, I tried moving with the d-pad and it didn't work.

I kinda solve the issue by going to the properties settings on the page of the game on steam and in the controller section i changed it from default to steam input. Idk if it was just luck

For me the default mappings were really messed up and i had to manually input every button

I had the same problem. Random inputs, and most didn't even work. Once I clicked "reset to default" everything worked for me.

i just turned off the controller supports to recognize the controller if you are connected via usb cord. the game noticed i was using ps4 controller and i have 0 problems with any thing concerning the controller movements.

No fix is working for me. No other controller is plugged into PC.

Ugh this is so annoying
