You can find your save file in this file path: C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\SomeHumbleOnion\Smushi Come Home
If you're on Mac just let me know and I can send that file path over instead. Once you're in that folder, locate the SmushiSave file and send it to me either through email or Discord (Discord is a bit faster)

So when you exit the game and load your save, it spawns you in that room with the green mushrooms and you're unable to get out. Does it do the same thing when you try loading your backup save? You can load the backup save from the game's Main Menu by going to Start > Delete/Restore Save > Select "Load Backup".
Hopefully that gets you unstuck but if not just let me know and I can try to push a quick fix for this!
I'm going to implement a quick feature to get you out of this area and once it's ready I'll let you know so you can download the update and get unstuck :D
I originally started playing the game when there was a lot of steamdeck glitches and was stuck with the black screen where the game didn't load. I stopped playing for a while, is it possible I did the wrong thing back when the game was still glitchy that put me in this position?
So what I've done is added a new test button called "Reset Position" which will teleport you back to the start of the level, essentially getting you unstuck :D You'll find this button from the Pause menu below the "Save and Quit" button. This button is only available in the cave level at the moment but hopefully you won't need it anywhere else.
In order to access this button, you'll need to update Smushi on your Steam Deck to a custom version. To do so:
1. Exit out of the game completely
2. Then, go to your Steam Library and Select Smushi Come Home
3. Select the Cog Wheel Icon and select Properties
4. Go down to where it says Betas
5. In the empty field, type in the password "fmodaudiofix" and hit Check Code
if the password is entered correctly, you'll gain access to this custom build called "audiofix". You'll now need to select it from the dropdown list where it says Beta Participation. Once you've done that, you should see a brief update start for the game. After that's done, simply boot the game up and load your save up and use the new "Reset Position" button to get unstuck!
Again sorry about this issue, it was most likely caused by a weird save glitch since you were playing when the game was a bit more unstable on the Steam Deck. The build you'll play on now is not fully tested but should run just fine. If you notice any other weird issues, I suggest switching back to the original version of Smushi using the same steps above. But first make sure you use this "audiofix" test version to unstuck yourself :3

There's another direction to go but I think that is just where I managed to get stuck the first time (after falling down the pipe).
Yeah the puzzles you previously solved won't reset from the "Reset Position" button. So the level will remain unchanged still.
The explosive walls should have little sticks of dynamite near them which you can light, but you'll need to acquire the "Fire Starter Kit" item first. You can find that outside of the cave from a different NPC by buying it off of him :)
If you want to get the explosive powder from that cave level (which is required to progress in the game's main story), you'll need to jump down the drain hole located near the end of the cave. It's the same area where you turned the water faucet off to drain the water. Once you jump down there it'll take you to a new section of the cave where you'll need to do a bit of platforming and that'll take you to the exit and explosive powder.
