dev responded on this. anybody but someone with Nvidia hardware, will have trouble. im waiting with my rx480 for a fix one day.

I wish this game had Open Gl or Direct x options.... Anyone know what it actually uses to render? is it just Software or does it use hardware?

Yes I read the pinned post, just complaining.
yeah these are issues with amd. ive stopped going amd because of stuff like this. this game / mod is not the only case. but get yourself a dirt cheap gtx 760 and it will run perfect. that is with pure eduke at least. sad!
btw this game does have some severe fps issues and it looks like its coming from some elements of level editing. getting severe fps drops in some areas on the 2. map / jungle.
these levels are far too much cluttered with stuff and complex structures than what the build engine can handle.
I'm using Linux Mint 21.2 and the game native's version
I have changed renderer to Classic, it's fast like hell then but unplayable due to picture artifacts...
