Can't Cleanse Chicken Coop

When i try to help the chicken farmer it wont let me cleanse the coop after i destroy the bone charm. I was able to do the first one where Baba teaches you how to cleanse the space with the pine branch and black salt but as after when i have to do future ones on my own it wont let me. Anyone encounter this or have a fix for it?

No I've tried multiple maps and i can only ever break the bone charm and the journal doesn't doesn't recognize that the bone charm is broken so it never lets me start cleansing

Same here. I had problem with cleansing the house and now with the chicken coop. With the first one the side quest wasn't stated as finished, and with chickens I couldn't cleanse.

I'm having the same problem. Jumped a few maps to try and fix. But after removing the shard I can only pick up chickens and can't cleanse.

There's a similar issue on the Goat Blessing. Because I can only pick up the babies, I can't smear honey on them and get stuck only blessing the adults and no other goats to use the last two honey blessings on.

It seems like "pick up" overrides all other "e" related actions

I don't think you can bless the baby goats? I was able to finish the quest by just smearing honey on the adults then going back and talking to the farmer

He weirdly wont talk to me until I smear the last two goats. And the only other goats around are the two babies. So I have no idea.

Oh that's definitely a bug maybe the last two are stuck underground or never spawned

I am also having the same issue. I can break the bone charm, but afterwards all other actions do not proc even though I have the correct supplies.

I haven't play in a while, so unless it has changed in an update the bone charm should be hanging above the door inside the coop

Still, there, found it yesterday and cleansed the chicken shed.

Have not played since last year but back then I ended up going inside the chicken coup and found the bone charm, small item, above the door also (unless it got moved to a different wall inside since then). If I remember correctly you then have to use the special branch to clean out the 'illness' from the coup.
