Yes please- don't lock cool cosmetics behind binary choices like that, pretty please.
Not just that, but the beehive keeper also gives you different rewards based on your choice sadly. I hope the devs will make these items obtainable somehow, even if it's after the end of the storyline or something.
I didnt want to bloat the forums with my own list, so here are some things I would add to yours:
- 45* angle beams, half-length beams and walls
- Make the vertical beams a bit thicker so they dont clip with walls
- Railings for balconies, stairways, etc! This is where half-length beams would help, but just having railing options would add so much!
- Large and circular windows
- Window options that are mirrored so that open hatches dont overlap!
- Window boxes with plants for exterior decor
- Roof shapes that are curved upwards/inverted
- Construction-material game progression (go from straw roof to shingles, etc)
- Unlockable mode with your crows that allows you to move freely while in build mode
I am a huge base builder in games. The more options, the better. I dont even care if theyre in DLC packs, I will support the heck outta this game if that kind of route is nessesary to push more variety content.
That would be a great option for those of us who just want to move on with the story or - like me - have lost their building inspiration. A couple of ready-made blueprints to choose from so that those who don't feel like building an elaborate house or who simply can't be bothered still will end up with a decently "witchy" looking house instead of just a big box.
Rituals that we can do like complex spells like the beginning but on our own maybe used for a mission/puzzle to figure out
building needs work atm its finicky on where i can place some things Example i have a table with a chair under it like normal but another chair wont go next to it like its afraid to be next to that chair
random events would be interesting
I would love to see:
- Fishing!
- Ability to cast other spells or I would love to protect my own house with salt.
- Biomes and interesting places. They talk about 'leaving to the city' .. It be amazing to see different size places or cities! Maybe even pretty oceans , large meadows, mountains etc.. Maybe even a 'rare' spawn like a fairy forest! Or ghost land or flower meadows. Something to make us want to explore and trigger these rare places (and maybe set up residence)
- quest markers over the npc heads.. Like a ! when we haven't picked it up. Or a . . . when we got the quest so we can find them later. If we have done the quest before in a diff map, i noticed the dialog is grey in the new town and i can miss it.
- I would like to do more with my goats and collect other animals.
- let me garden pls!!~ What kinda witch doesn't get to plant?
- Better ways to build... or I dunno. Let us float for an allotted time so we can build our roofs better LOL
- .. more.. shoes? I aint sure if my rng is bad but so many clothes!! and ok head things but .. where are my shoes and accessories?
- Ways to get items later on when we didn't know from the first two tutorials!
- Emotes.. sure Im playing by myself but it be nice to sit and admire the scenery (if we get more places to look at)
