How do you cook?

Can someone kindly explain to me how I'm supposed to craft/cook? I have to deliver food to two NPC in the village but I don't understand how to do that.

put 3 ingredient into the oven, remember to save some wood for cooking. you wont get wood until u go to the other map

Oh okay, so it means you can't cook in the first map? I didn't use the skeletal chair yet because Baba Yaga told me I won't be able to come back after leaving

Super late here, but for the savory meal I opted to make a mushroom soup (everything else I had was sweet) and that did the trick.

you have to put the wood in the back of the oven, for w.e reason that took me awhile to figure out lmao

I used mushroom soup AND bread bc I did just mushroom and the woman said she wanted more than that so adding the bread was key for me!
