stuck in cave with clare

i was following the soul gem most of the game and now i am stuck in the cave with clare. the one with the viper. i keep reading about old wood but i was never directed to it. please help?

There are two pressure plates in that room. You just need to step on both in any sequence to open the tunnel to the right.

As I remember a solution comes along. Honestly don't remember but I would just search around alot and look for something to set on fire to warm Clare.

I'm not sure what I am doing incorrect, I have put the rock on the seen lower plate should I put the rock at the top first? I'm not seeing a second pressure plate appear.

If you find that you are stuck, find the last scene that you unlocked by using the in game phone, then search the guide, using CTRL+F, for that scene. What you need should be after that scene.
