Fishing for Bruce

Anyone else having difficulty fishing for Bruce? I can't seem to get a 3000lb great white. Is it really left to RNG for them to show up?

you can buy the bigger fish book from the bait shop but it is random, took me a while last time to finally land bruce

Ya I have all the upgrades. Getting him to spawn is the trick. RNG be a heartless ♥♥♥♥♥.

or you can just unlock the puzzle with a key

If you have all the upgrades you can pop in and out of the beach using the left and right arrow keys until you get a big great white spawn. It might take a while but its much easier than fishing all the fish and hoping to get a giant great white spawn.

Ah ok. Thanks for the advice. Gonna try left and right arrow for a bit. If I get beat out maybe I'll unlock it.

Finally got it lol. Definitely put close to 2 hours into that. Back and forth on the beach sped it up for sure. Thanks for all the tips guys.

Here is what not to do. I finally had a large great white spawn and I saved the game with the intention to save scum until I caught it. Once it was done saving completely different fish had spawned. Got what I deserved lol

just got him on my current save, one thing I noticed is that I was losing most great whites and a number of lures, I decided to wait until i had the four leaf clover for added luck and got him within 10 mins

I think big sharks automatically disappear if you try to save. Problem written in the code to prevent save scumming. I tried it too.

Saving seems to have the same effect as leaving and returning to the area. After you save in the jungle, new glitters or gold may appear on the ground. And during a puzzle, the puzzle resets.

When you catch him whatever you do dont press F5 I tried all the F keys to screenshot and my game closed
