"Use pickaxe to break pillar behind library" - can't interact

The Soul Crystal message says to use the pickaxe on a pillar behind the library. But I can't seem to interact with the row of five tall stones (not pillars) behind the library. They are blocking a key and a broken key. There is a poison bee in the west side guarding a key also. A movable rock has spawned due to having lighted enough torches. Nothing I click on causes an opportunity to use an inventory item such as the pickaxe. Any ideas ?

I'm at 34% of game play and I still haven't been able to figure that out. With regards to your message, the only "pillar" that I've used the pickaxe on is the ones where Mother Superior lives.

And that’s the only type of pillar you will interact with. There is one behind the library. Destroy it, and then you can move a stone onto a pressure plate at the far right against the back of the library. That will remove the stones in front of the key.

It took me a while to find it. It's flashing, that should help. I also found a library key while madly clicking on the border of the scene in case anyone is stuck on that.

The pillar at the back of the Library is on the right hand side next to the building, partly hidden.

I don't have rock. Is it bug or am I missing something?

Thanks, very good guide. But I don’t have that rock to move, pillar is already broken. Crystal tell me to go outside northeast of library and Diana is in my house. But I also didn’t get nitroglycerin earlier, so much is missing maybe… (or bug?) ♥♥♥♥... I have to read guide carefully.

Odds are you moved the rock behind the library and can't see it. Unfortunately there is no way to change your point of view. Are the two keys in the back gone? If so then you've already done it. If not it may be something they missed as most puzzles reset when you leave the area, unless they are already completed.

Sounds like you are in Part 4. Go to part 5 and scroll up. Go inside the library and turn the right light one and then go to where the chest is outside.
