Can't find Ali's 2nd Tick

This is driving me crazy. Playing through the Fulcrum stories in Lost Age and Ali's part in Tick 2 is literally the only one I can't find. I've scoured the whole map in Tick 2 and I can't find Ali or even his monkey.

Can anyone at least confirm that it's there and it hasn't glitched out somehow? I am desperate here. No other one has given me this much trouble.

There's another one that requires that ability, the crab in Atlantis.

Yes - some stories need abilities unlocked. The fulcrum stories are side quests and some of them are designed to be completed after you reach some points in the game

That's perfectly fine, but I wish the game made this clear before I spend an hour looking for a guy I have yet no ability to find.

Maybe those side quests could unlock after player unlocked all necessary things in game?

I'm not quite sure to understand, I have the wrath ability unlocked as I finished Wrath storyline but I still cannot find Ali in the second Tick. After clicking on every possible interaction highlighted by the abilitie Ali is nowhere to be found.

You need to use the Parallax Analysis. You unlock this tool during the The Golden Foot case

Ok so it's not just me then. I just spent like 2 hours trying to find him.

I don't mind coming back to this later but I wish the game would at least nudge you after 5 or 10 minutes that maybe you don't have all the proper tools yet. Because I found all the Rick & Morty's in the first map so I didn't see why you wouldn't be able to find all the other characters.

Ok, so some side characters might not be immediately found right away, got it.

This is still unclear. I looked it up after looking for Ali 2 for a good 30-40 mins.

Now I'm stuck on another one in "stage 1", and I'm unsure if it's me or I need an ability.

Also, I've no idea how to progress the story past the yellow crane case. There were no prompts to keep going, only the ability to do the side things, one of which I can't complete because I don't have the ability for it and the other one I'm unsure about because "I might just need another ability".

Not ideal.
