But being fr, this game is a masterpiece and I can't recommend it enough. Definitely in my top 3 of all time. On top of the base game, it's got an amazing modding community (though they aren't available through steam.) Amazing bops, amazing strategy gameplay, and every little creature and party member makes a silly noise when they get hit.

brutal orchestra is a game that holds a special place in my heart. the art and character designs are great and the mechanics are fun to learn. the story is quite minimal but the writing is surprisingly impactful, there are characters and lines in this that have really stuck with me more than i expected

I LOVE CHARCARRION BEING HARDER THEN BOTH OF THE GAMES FINAL BOSSES. great game, its one of my favorite indie games in years, it has an amazing honeymoon phase but after all the surprises the loop ends up feeling a little stale and luck based. still amazing on that first run through, solid 8/10

amazing game, a bit shorter than expected, but was still one hell of a ride. Be warned though its got some teeth, as its one of the harder turn-based rpg's I've played, but its also the most engaging ones. 10/10 a must-play

Really fun rogue-like game with creative characters, enemies and bosses. As well as great music and a cool story. Epic!
Something I really like is how you unlock new characters. It's like a little puzzle and it gives each character its own personality which usually adds to their play-style. There's also a good mix of getting characters quicker, and some taking longer to get which really adds to the replay ability of the game.
Personally I love the pigment system as it means I have to really think about what moves I should use each round and what items I want to keep my pigment down, as well as what colour of pigment.
I don't often write reviews but I highly recommend giving this game a go, It might be worth watching some game play to see if you would like it, but don't watch too much if you care about spoilers!!
