I feel like I got hard mode way too early

on like my fourth run I beat ouroboros and unlocked the games hard mode by not killing myself (which like come on that seemed like the right thing to do) but I feel like I missed a lot of content cause I beat heaven on like run 6. Is the game just that replayable or am I missing an ending? I did absolutely love what I saw of the game tho.

You can turn off Hardmode from the options menu.
The only achievement that you can get in Easy mode but not in Hardmode is the alternate ending for Killing the Pitiful Corpse and the associated achievement.

There's a LOT of replayability especially since you can beat each boss with every character for separate achievements
