Replacement Battery missing in Los Alamos Facility

Encountered a softlock in Los Alamos Facility. (minor spoilers for progression below) After getting the green key and moving to the basement, there is a section where you need to use the saw weapon to open a door. There is a charging station in a room nearby with an electrified fence and a jumping puzzle with boxes and conveyor belts. I completed the jumping puzzle but for some reason the replacement battery item was missing from the location it is supposed to be in. This meant I had no way to power up the saw weapon and was softlocked.

I don't know what caused it, but there had been other physics issues earlier on like a door that was supposed to open from the opposite side opening without warning. The only way I could fix the issue was restarting the entire level. I believe it could have been avoided entirely if I had just recharged the saw at the end of the previous level.

TLDR - There is a possible softlock in Los Alamos Facility if the replacement battery item does not spawn. Restarting the level fixed it for me, but it may be preventable if you fully charge the saw at the end of the Los Alamos Facility Entrance level (after the boss fight).

Several times here, after the drone explode in the office where the battery is, the battery can fall to the floor behind the desk. Have you check behind the desk ?

Thanks for the comment. I did indeed look around the office but the battery was missing from the desk before the drone even spawned in. Ultimately I just had to restart the level, but it worked the second time.

Edit: I already finished the game, this is thread was more of a PSA for others.

Oh ok, i never had this bug. I always have my saw weapon fully charged here so
