How do I turn faster in Super Racer 4?

Arrow keys, mouse and controller all won't move me left or right fast enough to not crash.

Crank up your mounse sensitive reaction, thats how I beat it.

What I still even found out is the shooting mini game... all goes well in the first two levels, but on the third, I'm getting contatntly fired at, even when no ennemy are on the screen... and sometime when I retry, I get shooted before the first enemmy even appear on the first level... the game seems to turn into homicidal difficulty as soon as I reach the level 3 and somethimes stay like that when restarting...
