Is it definitive that Phantom Fury isn't coming to GOG?
I ask because the store page there is still up right now and the release is in less than 24 hours. I would rather get the game on GOG if it's going to be available.

Unless something changed they are committed to not release on it, Look at kingpin reloaded it still has a page. Given the current set of bugs who knows whether or not they'll be addressed.
I didn't know that about Kingpin! I'm getting PF anyway though, I just hope I don't get burned by buying here only for the game to also show up on GOG.

Given the already negative press before its launch(which will just get worse). Kinda doubt they will, unless sales are amazing (doubtful) I don't expect it to release on gog it would be miracle if it ever releases on console let alone sell well on the platforms.

Why would the GOG page exist if they didn't plan on releasing it there?

Ask them that, they never gave a answer for why. The release date was made and they made the statement on the discord right then an there. For an actual reason probably just poor sales on the platform if the wrath and graven achievements are any indication. They said they would pull it, 2 months later and it is still up.

The GOG page was made when the title was first announced, and at that time releasing on GOG was something that was wanted.

Towards the end of development, the team decided to focus their efforts solely on a Steam release.
The GOG page is being taken down. I pushed again today for this to be removed to stop any confusion.

Easier to patch where they'll get some sales compared to gog where they get less sales. Not to mention patches.

Very disappointed by this. Would have bought it later today. Not anymore now.

Will it ever come to GoG? Maybe not now, but in a year or so?

Dusk had a huge delay when it came to the GoG release, so I guess waiting is not the biggest problem.

Dusk is new blood, whether or not they sell after better question is whether or not 3drealms will be around in a year.

You know, it's not exactly a great sign of confidence for a game when a dev/publisher actively removes a digital storefront option for a game last minute, especially one that's not related to a change in DRM use... just saying.

It wasn't last minute, they made the decision few months ago.

It took almost a week and a half for Ion Fury's expansion pack to make it onto GOG after the Steam release. Mind you, that time was well spent on fixing bugs in the release; plenty of users on the forums were swearing that they would never buy Aftershock (even when given a legitimate reason like QA) but bought it nonetheless when it released on GOG in a stable state. My guess is that Phantom Fury will go that route; no release until the major bugs have been fixed.
