I dunno, watched the entire thing and he sounds extremely biased and nitpicky for some reason. He points out stuff that usually gets a pass from him in other reviews. Good quarter of the video is him comparing it to Half-Life and I mean, do other games not feel similar to others? I don't see the point in that. He kinda lost me at "the glass shatters the same as in Source engine" and then even more where he says the arm punch leaves the head intact even though in the EXACT SAME FRAME you can see the head bloody and with a different decal.

I'm absolutely sure that the game is 7-8/10 at best from what I've seen elsewhere, but he's just so inconsistent in his reviews at times.

They also disliked Aliens Colonial Marines, Graven, Lula 3D, Breed and many more games. But the majority i found fun to play.
I will see for myself, since it cost less then 30 euro anyway which is nothing.

The devs themselves refer to the game as a half-like so yeah comparisons are going to be made. Ion fury was a build engine game pushed to its limits but it had an identity. What does this game really bring to the table?

Duh, my point is I haven't seen such a section in any of his boomer shooter reviews, doom-likes, etc. Literally EVERY game ever made has similarities to past games.

You tell me, I'm not really defending the game. I'm expecting an average shooter that I have no problem paying for since it's relatively cheap. I'm just pointing out how nitpicky this review seems from his usuals.

What would be a doom-like and what review. Because most just refer to them as build engines games not doom-likes. Everything is similar to something point is to have something stand out ion fury does what about phantom fury? Also again the devs stated that’s what phantom fury is a half-like.

Eh, you're just repeating the same thing and not actually reading with comprehension as to what I am saying. Again, I don't care about the game itself as I already said, just saying that gman isn't the most reliable/consistent reviewer out there. I'll play it regardless, though, peace.

Shillman's opinion is less than worthless, to be clear, but I didn't expect it to be good after how awful the demo was anyway.

That’s your opinion, you say things are nitpicks, I’m not saying your defending anything. If anything you have a biased towards the reviewer if you don’t care for his view why watch or comment on it?
