Why is there no quick swap button?

There is actually a quick-swap function in the game, it's just not bound to anything by default. Here's how you can get the function back:

If you have such an option by default, I'm assuming you had the demo installed last year, correct?

The "Equip previous weapon" bind does not appear in the controls menu on a clean install. Try reverting your controls to default and it'll just disappear.

From what I've gathered, the demo had an option to bind a quick-swap key by default, but this was removed for the full version. However, the full game doesn't override the Input.ini created by the demo, so you still retain that bind option from the demo if you had it installed previously.

Well, I can't argue with that... doubly so because the function is evidently already in the game, they just decided to unbind and hide it for reasons which are beyond me...
