no wool
1In a simple barn, the sheep are full, producing milk and meat, but no wool. What could be the problem?

Hello Gamja
You can check in the sheep's inventory if they currently have wool that can be collected. If they have wool but it's not being collected, here are a couple of possible reasons:
- workers usually wait until a sheep has 25+ wool before they shear them
- in winter, the sheep don't get shorn so that they can keep their coat as not to freeze
- the worker didn't have time to fo the task yet. Maybe they are trying to fulfill needs that have higher priorities like looking for food or warmth.

If the sheep don't have wool in the inventory or below 25, they need more time to grow their coat. If you need more wool, you could upgrade the barn for more space or build a second one :)

Make sure someone is actually working there, and that person has the time to do so. If the walk from home to work is too far, they are unable to put in some actual work hours, as the walking-time will count as work (or turn up the schedule).
Also check that "Harvest goods" is a task that is enabled and high up on the priority in the activities of the building.

Related question: EXACTLY how does comfort impact animals? Will more comfort provide more product, or is comfort just a prerequisite for the production?

It impacts them in the same way as it impacts humans: The simulation is the same for humans and animals, where the barn or the burrow is their home. So, they regenerate energy faster which helps them to survive better as they have more time available and thus also can care better for themself, which may also lead to more offspring and less work for the caretaker = more efficient and faster population growth.
But sheep also produce wool in nature, so comfort is not a prerequisite for the production. You can also hunt wild sheep and get extra wool this way.
