Working on improved descriptions, explain mechanisms and add tips
Thank you for all the feedback! It was great to receive so many questions, and we enjoyed watching the various streams and videos. This has helped us identify areas where the stumbling stones can be.
We are working on a patch to clarify the mechanics, provide tips, and add more help to the in-game wiki. We have also already added more information to the community wiki.

On our list we currently have:
  • Improve the help entry on how pollution works: Especially the cesspit and the water influence
  • Improve the help entry on how the heat works. Especially about plants and the food influence
  • Add a detailed help entry with tips on how to get a lot of food
  • Add new help entry on how to delete things: Especially what options you have and how to select other delete tools
  • Add a detailed help entry in the marketplace on how to buy things: May be with the example of a copper bar.
  • Explain better that bees do not fly when it rains or in the winter, and explain that bees can compete for flowers
  • Small hut: Explain that it can be heated and offer more comfort than the straw hut so that people can recover more quickly.
  • Barn: Explain that a fence is not necessary, but has advantages and disadvantages. The caretakers will catch wild animals and lead them into the barn.
  • Forester: Explain that the trees automatically grow back slowly. And add the hint: Plant more trees to get more wood. But not too densely, so that they can grow well.
  • Gatherer: Additional hint: Plant wheat fields or garden beds nearby to increase the yield.
  • Smelter: Additional hint: Make sure that a mine is within range.
  • Stonemason: Additional hint: Make sure there are stones in range, or even a quarry.
  • Shrine need: Additional hint: Make sure that the people are well enough and not starving. Otherwise they won't find the time to visit the shrine.
  • Winery: Additional hint: Plant garden beds, bushes or fruit trees nearby to increase the yield.
  • Add examples to the community wiki

This covers most points we’ve read or saw. Is something missing?
Let us know, thanks!

- We also figured a new wiki entry which explains how to automatically move resources internally form marketplace to marketplace would be a great addition.

Let us know if something is missing or you would like to see a specific example tutorial :)

Delete this entry if you want this thread to be purely for you devs, but got to say:
LOVE how active you are in the discussions and help people out. Goes to show how closely you monitor and want to ensure the best possible experience for players already into it, and players coming to your game.
You might hate the comparison by now, but Banished set the groundwork so many years ago, and this is really a direct upgrade, a "banished 2", but of course a thing in itself. Many other city builders have strange spins to them that throws off the game loop. This feels smooth, dynamic, interesting and well thought out. :boozehound:
Keep up the good work (and feel free to steal ANYTHING from my guide) :steamhappy:
