Game breaking bug

On Main Character creation and first battle the game simply freezes and I am unable to progress...

What kind of specs are you running? is this on the Steam Deck and if not, what OS are you using, Apple OS, Linux, Windows? Is this in Fullscreen or borderless? and lastly is this constant? I am not the dev but it might be helpful for CLE if they have a bit more info if possible

i have a simmular bug but it is only on char creation i can see the cogs ( the background) still moveing and the ost is still there it just wont accept controls to go to the diffrent menus

Same. Used XBox controller. It freezes in main character creation screen if you choose to change something (it detects if I pressed something on keyboard or controller and changes prompt for Help from F1 to controller button, but doesn't accept any imputs). If you decide not to change main character and use default you can get to the first fight with Comet and it freezes there.

Win10, NVidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti

Tried both initial fullscreen (not sure if it is an actual fullscreen or just a borderless window), then used Alt+Enter to switch to normal windowed mode.

Just to help give some contrast to maybe assist with narrowing down the problem, I don't have any issues of any kind.
My specs being: Win 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel i5-10600k 4.10GHz, GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, 32GB RAM.

Found the solution. The problem is the game only works in English OS locale or those compartible with it. So Start->Control Panel->Region. Change Region Format to English and start the game, you should be fine after that. Change it back to usual after you play.

I had Russian by default and it wasn't working as it was supposed to.

Intro movie won't play and instead I got total blackscreen. I could play and do everything else fine and skip the intro and the game would play normally but it's annoying not getting full experience from who knows what. I ventured into movie folder and could play the intro fine outside the game (there're 3 of them and all are the same movie lol dunno why they needed to do that) so it's definitely not codec.

When trying to select a look for MC/Party members i can only see the top/bottom menu but not the portrait itself and instead i get a monochrome background (can see the character in the voice selection/race selection menus).

Also during the Comet battle every time she attacks the ui and Comet herself disappear and only leave the background on screen for a few seconds feeling like it's skipping an animation or two.

Changing HD, folders, checking data integrity did nothing.

Win10, GTX 1060 6 Gigs

Anyone else having a similar problem?

EDIT: Nvm, i also solved by changing the region format.

They should fix that ... Being stuck 1 min after lauching the game is completely annoying ...

There is a solution to this problem in this thread. Try changing region format to english in windows settings.
