Bug list in a nutshell
Hi everyone,

I saw that The Dreadist already made a similar post, but we need as much visibility as possible to reach the dev team as we really want them to see this post because we know they are reading! Cannot promise anything though since I am not related to KT but I will try to gather all the major bugs and issues people are encountering here to make those as easy to understand / report as possible.
The dev have the resposability to fix their game and it should never be the responsability of the players to help them for that (since the game is no beta or early access) but since a lot of us here love the series and want it to succeed, hopefully in a better shape next time, let's try to give KT the tools to fix their mess.

What can we do?
To fix a bug a dev team will need to be able to reproduce it. They need to see the game being broken to understand where it is broken and how to fix it.
Below I will make two main lists, one compiling the easy to reproduce bugs and another one compiling issues that have been reported but are for now too random to be reproduced correctly. If you can help by sending screenshots / footages, specs from your rig, the settings you are playing in (graphics, resolution, etc.) that would help a ton!

The "easy-to-be-reproduced" bugs / issues:
・Lighting problem with AMD (tested on various GPU)
・Huge FPS drops if no controller pluged in (game seems to search for one constantly)
・Ayane's flashlight doesn't charge up completely (99 instead of 100)
Capping the framerate to 60 apparently fixes the issue
・Ghost hand is based on framerate: the higher the FPS get, the more damage it inflicts.

The bugs / issues which need more info:
・Soft locks (First Drop: during the tutorial, Second Drop, Fifth Drop: cave etc.)
Could be because of a resolution higher than 1080p?
・Crashes
・Missing sound effects
・First cut-scene never loads for some users

(Bonus Round) The functions we would like to see in the game:
・Mouse Support (already announced)
・Controller Rumble Support
・Controller Gyro Support
・Ultra-Wide Support
・Surround Sound
・Controller controls free mapping

I think I read about missing sound effects like the ghost hands. I didn't play the original/remastered on other platforms so I can't confirm

I hit the block on the 5th drop when going into the womb cave couldn't get past it so i started new game as that fixed the lock on the 2nd drop. I'm now unable to move after the tutorial in 1st drop. I can move my analogue stick and pause but i'm unable to move or enter snap mode like it says. I've restarted several times and still hitting it

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but if you get dunked in the black water by shrine maidens, the exposure level never goes down on its own. Is that working as intended? I hadn't noticed this happening when other enemies do the same thing, like the reliquary carriers.

Yeah, I just experienced this as well. There seems to be a bug with Ayane's flashlight only charging up to like 99 instead of 100, and because of that it makes you unable to stun unaware ghosts.

However, it seemed to work in her final episode. I have no idea why it's not working in the other episodes, but the devs really should look into getting this fixed, as it's making these episodes more of a hassle to play when you can't fully charge the flashlight.

This is intended. Here's how it works : as soon as you get fully wet, the gauge will no longer go down on its own. With 1 exception : simply standing in the rain will not put you in this state (even though the wetness gauge shows as full). However, being hit by an enemy in this situation WILL make you cross that threshold (since enemy attacks also increase your wetness). Also, any enemy attack that makes you fall to the ground in an area where there's water will make you instantly fully wet.

If you're using Yuri's default costume, you can actually tell which state you're in. Check the pictures below and look at the "skirt" part of Yuri's costume. See how it sticks to her body in the second image but not the first one? The first picture is simply the result of standing in the rain (can dry off automatically later), while the second one shows the true fully wet state (can only dry with embers).

I'm surprised there arent many people talking about this but ever since the patch every cutscene's audio has been massively out of sync for me. Everything was fine pre-patch but now that happens all the time and nothing seems to fix it

I must have mis-remembered the encounter when a different enemy didn't seem to cause the same effect then.

Thank you for reporting the issues you encountered (even though I wished there was none), I added those to the list.
I will send everything to their customer support now, and continue to do so as new issues get reported. Hopefully it will lead to something...

I can't escape the grasp of a ghost that attacks me during the "take" animation. PS4 controller.

I think many people have this problem after patch. I have it too. Audio in cutscene out of sync. I tried lower resolution, low settings but same. Also last patch somehow changed my character speed. Now run and walk almost same. Prologue 1 cutscene / 4 chapter cutscenes black screen with resolution 1080. Also sometimes i have white screen at launch .

There is an input bug on B button prompts. When the prompt is on the screen, you can use RT to trigger the same action as B. Not too big a deal, but can be annoying at times. Tested on Action configuration

it's not a bug, it's intended.
"Shoot" counts as an action button.

Something to add to the wish list: the ability to freely map controller buttons. I can't count how many times I pressed RT to pick up an item, but because I wasn't positioned 100% correctly I turned completely around to stare at someone's shadow trace instead...

Has anyone find a way to fix the Amane bug? I can't get past the tutorial enemy because of it, and so I can't progress.
