It depends on how much of a fan of previous Fatal Frames you are. If you want to see a character from this game dressed up as one of your favorites, get it. If you want some potentially high-quality art and "official" access to some of the BGM, go for it. Otherwise, the standard edition is fine.

Yes, that's correct. Anyone who preorders gets the Camera Obscura Hat and Witch's Hat. Anyone who buys within the first 14 days of launch gets the Atelier Ryza outfit and hat. They are not part of the Deluxe Edition.

ok, thanks. that kinda makes sense then. but shouldn´t that be a whole skin then, not just the head/hat? would make more sense.

It could but then you wouldn't be able to dress up the Camera with all the other character costumes like Mayu outfit from Crimson Butterfly. It has been apart of each game, so it is only fair that it gets to adorn many costumes (new and old) and not be limited to just a base skin.

To clarify, Digital Deluxe buyers WILL get these. But they're not "part" of the DDX "set." Anyone who preorders get the hats, and anyone who buys within 14 days of launch get the Ryza outfit.
