Is there suspend save?
As title, is there a suspend save/equivalent in the pc version, so you can leave the game in the middle of the dungeon?

In caravan, do 2-3 separate save files***. Create a backup (PC files) save file if you absolutely don't wish to lose the items as SAVE corruption happens!

Most frecvent:

You steal successfully and game freezes...............

Another I had today, in caravan, i read the "message" replacement items they "introduced". Event scene plays out. Next moment I'm back in base...... But can't access storages because game still thinks I'm in caravan. Can use everything else normally.

***game does an autosave whenever you enter dungeon, including from caravan. If you die/exist game/give up option you'll lose everything.

So, let's say you have 3 save files.

If you load save file 1, everything is losed. If you load save file 2, everything is losed. Save with 3.

However, if you load save file 1 (slot 1), and save again on save slot 1*. Than you can exist game and load save file 2 or 3 and continue where you have left in the caravan.

If you don't oversave, and load save 1, no save, load 2, everything is gone from both save files (equipment, momeny, inventory)

I think you can save in caravans.

Is that the only way to leave the game safely in the middle of dungeon? Because IIRC in PSP you can just like, turn off your PSP and continue later (I could be wrong though).

I've read that on PSP you could put it into sleep mode if you are in the middle of the dungeon but if you just turn it off you get a fail and lose all equipment on coming back, even that which was supposed to be saved by insurance. So only safe way to leave was to save in caravan before turning the game off. But that's just what I've read. I don't own a PSP and never played this game before PC.

I expect it to work similarly here which is why I say that "I think" it will work. Never tried it myself.

Not sure I understand why 2nd one failed. As I understand it autosaves only in the last save slot, right? So if 1 was the last what happened with the 2nd file, why did it fail too? I usually keep two files but what you are saying means it won't be enough.

Because that's how the game works with it bugs and more (like freeze after steal I mentioned. Random crashes and more. They ported the game with no bug fix).

Can you imagine, 2 times I lost my progress because I loaded save 1 (after dying, trying to steal end dungeon gears), Load save 2, nothing there as well.....nothing..... And luckily save 3 was working....because I saved on 2.

I usually only do load 1, SAVE (slot 1) and load 2 with no risk. But, 2 times, I needed the 3rd.

oh, and 1 time, even with save and everything, I loosed everything from all 3.....

Grinding 60...100....150....200! floors is extremely time consuming.... auto save should have never been introduced.... in a game where gears farming and more is even more time consuming....
