Is it possible to beat strong man?

Just curious before i throw myself at multiple attempts to find out, I got him low but he cast this electric time bomb thing on me which im guessing is there to force you to lose but also seemed like if I dps'd more I could finish him before dying lol. Just curious if theres an alternate scene or something

You can't beat him the first time. You'll be given another chance to fight him at the shelter. He's a lot stronger in that fight.

ah ok good to know. Im guessing its related to the training options i havent tried them yet

Can confirm, if you actually beat him (did it in NG+) he simply wipe you out with the energy thing at 0% and you lose, so you can't "kill" him.

I had thought we were well and truly done with that utterly ♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic by now, but oh well. At least let me win then get KO'd by, I don't know, falling bricks or something...
