How to parry with spear?

the parry mechanics will be triggered when you timed the enemy's attack.

Yes that is the parry, also if im not mistaken when attacking with a different weapon then switching to spear the parry window is longer but slower to initiate. Different animations for just using the special of spear of using the spear as a followup. When you parry there will be a clinck sound. Will be very clear that you parried.
