Disappointed with Door to Phantomile
Is anybody disappointed on how Door to Phantomile turn out?
I was really hoping it would be a lot better than the Wii version or dare i say, The Original.

But man dude.. lol

While the graphics itself seem 'okayish' to me for a remake, the Gameplay felt like it lost lots of its charm compared to the original. the death screen felt bland, few sounds were missing, and the control felt sorta stiff.

The animation cutscene also looked really bad. Klonoa just seemed sorta emotionless, standing there with his default idle pose and turning his head once in awhile.

I'm pretty convince Namco just took the wii version and added a new coat of paint.

Oh well. I haven't touched Lunatea's Veil at all. So I'm crossing my fingers that it turns out well.

Yeah, basically that. His ears visibly clipping on his hat everytime he moves is another thing that bugs me.

Klonoa 2 is better on that regard, but just because less things where modified from the original version, so less things to make worse (mainly optimization issues related by some and lack of some visual effects).

I mean, in DtP's case that's basically all it is: a souped up version of the Wii remake. There's some little bits and pieces missing/changed in LV (like facial expressions and music in certain cutscenes), but it's not super noticeable and the remaster itself is pretty good so far, IMO.
