No manual saving and where are checkpoints?
You know what is NOT funny?
1) No ability to save manually
2) When you get here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2883848492
exit game and then when you continue you start from here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2883848501

Seriously, I have to get the gun again?

Checkpoints are generally at the start of a level, or if it is a multi-room type level then in the transition areas between parts. No real need for manual saves in a 5 hour game.

Yes but there could have been a checkpoint closer to the room with weapon and not before the breaking bridge

Yeah, the checkpoints in the introduction section are scarce, but it generally works fine later on.

It's unbelievable that devs can't get basic save systems working. It needs be completely clear to the player when the last save was, and when the next save checkpoint will be. Otherwise no-one knows when they can or can't stop playing, and everyone will have to replay content which in other types of games is slightly less of a problem, but in puzzle games is UNACCEPTABLE. Would it kill them to put in a quicksave system? f5 save f8 load something like that? It would literally only make the game more fun and playable there is no reason not to.

What are you talking about? Did you play the game? There are checkpoints after each puzzle.

And where exactly is there an on screen prompt telling you that you've passed a checkpoint? It's literally Game Design 101 to notify players when they pass a checkpoint.

You need a prompt to tell you that you solved a puzzle?

Jeez people making a fuss over the slighest inconveniences possible. If you don't know where the last save is, just kill yourself ingame. There is a pretty obvious logic to it and it is definitely is no big deal to replay the last 30 seconds worst case. -,-

Anyone, and I mean it, anyone who finds the checkpoint system too difficult to handle are either trolls, or too young to be on a computer without an adult.
I've had no inconvenience with the checkpoints. Its standard for a puzzle room game.

I figured it out. They can't tell where a checkpoint is because they haven't solved any puzzles. If you can solve a puzzle, you are intelligent enough to know what a checkpoint is.

The real question is - WHY do you even need checkpoints for a 1min puzzle anyway? :awkward:
