Retro Gadgets

I'm considering buying this game, and I have a couple questions.
First of all, I just want to say, this looks like a great game already. That being said, however, I have a few questions before I buy it. Note: I may still buy it no matter what the answers are. This game seems quite enjoyable, even if the answers are no. Anyways, on to the questions. First, is there any way to connect multiple devices in some sort of disconnectable slot? If I'm
being unclear, in a way not dissimilar to the way an Atari connects to its games. If not, are there any plans for it? I think it would be quite a neat feature. Having some sort of extender between slots, like a wire or something similar, would be neat as well. Second, anybody who has played this on Linux, how well does Proton run it? Also, does the widget feature still work when using Proton? Thanks in advance!

Hi, and thank you for your interest and your nice words! Regarding your questions, we are currently focusing on two major releases: a Campaign mode and a Launcher, that will allow users to enjoy the community's gadgets freely. For this reason, we are not working on adding complex features at the moment. However, we will keep your suggestions in mind for future releases, though they are not planned at this time.

As for Proton, some members of our Discord community do play the game on it, but as you suspected, the widget feature does not seem to work on it, as far as we know. Thank you for your support and we hope you will have the chance to enjoy Retro Gadgets!

and a Launcher

Hopefully the launcher plays well on proton, that way us Linux folks can enjoy and share gadgets where the widgets have failed. Looking foreword to it! Great game and honestly quasi software development tool :)
