Spec points of cars

At the beginning every car has summary 10 points between Acceleration, Top Speed, Handling, Braking. But new cars which unlocked after driving some kilometers are more effective than previous cars. So it's not effective to upgrade first cars and it's simpler to jump to next car. Values of points are different, so maxed out Mini Copper will never be as maxed out Audi.
So why all cars have 10 points at the beginning? It's obvious that in reality Stratos is a beast vs Mini Cooper, but game doesn't show their specs. Why Stratos don't have, for example, 15 points?
And I'm sad about MG Metro - in reality it was a beast in the same class B as Quattro. But in the game it's the first car, and it's underpowered. Next car is old Escort which in reality was not a monster vs MG, but in the game they are almost the same.

FYI, there is no "best" car in this game, all cars start at 10 points and can be upgraded to 40. How the upgrades are distributed is up to you. Yes some have more speed, some have more acceleration, some better cornering. Once you have a set of fully upgraded cars, you can choose one that better suits you. I personally prefer the MicroClubGT3, I always end up playing with that car over the others! The idea behind it is that you can play with what ever car you like, rather than there being 1 car that rules the game!

1. How to upgrade to 40 points? There are 10 starting points +24 additional points. Other six points will be later? ))
2. Mini Cooper 40 points vs Quattro 40 points vs Escort MkII 40 points...how different are these cars in time trials? If times are almost the same so it's not realistic. If times are different, so values of points are different. Simple question - what is top speed of these cars at 40 points?
3. It's a good game, thanks for work! It's interesting to tune first cars to get golds in time trial...but I'm afraid that Quattro will break these times easily...need to unlock it at first ))

1. Sorry 34 is the max yes :)
2. All at max will be class A, they will all be able to set top quality times, the cars are not based on real life and real life specs, the idea is that all cars can compete at the top level when fully upgraded, and all cars can compete at the bottom level with upgrades removed.
3. Thanks! Find the car that you like to drive most, and the one you can set top times with. The leaderboards have a big variety of cars at the top :)
