Tatiana Boss Fight Bug?

Hi all!

I've just picked up the game on sale, and I've really been enjoying it so far, and I've had no issues up until now!

For whatever reason, once I've done a decent enough chunk of Tatiana's fight, I 'down' her, and am prompted to hit her with the key!

Only I am unable to...

Not sure why this happens, but I am only given say one or two 'fragments' of the key, and because of the protective bubble around her, I can't actually damage her in any capacity. It seems to soft lock the game somehow.

If my description isn't clear enough, I do have a video of the issue, but it's frustrating that I've gotten this far, only to be held back by a bug such as this!

If anyone has a fix of any capacity - or I manage to rectify the issue myself - I'll update, but I'll just leave this here for now otherwise! ^^

I'm not sure what was causing the issue, but I seem to have managed to avoid it during my last attempt last night!

This thread is so dead I'm going to try and explain, this happened to me before the "Encore edition" even existed, this is just a bug is so rare that I have tried to replicate it more than 10 times and just doesn't ocurr, like at all, even when I tried beating it in crazy mode. But as you just stated, It "fixed itself" basically and if ever happens again, just reset the game/stage and you'll be good to go.

i owned this game when it first came out and the bug happened to me every time when i tried to fight her so much so i could not finish the game

This has happened to me once in Encore and I've done the Tatiana fight quite a few times. I wasn't able to fix it and just had to restart the fight. At least it seems to be rare.
