Reba's story line concerning her relationship with her mother I could relate to on one level as my sister and I took care of our elderly mother before she died back in 2020 (nothing to do with COVID, she fell and broke her hip, at 93). Dealing with an aging parent can be tough, especially when the parent has dementia (even though that was specifically not the case with Reba's mom, she seemed a bit selfish and ornery). Reba loves her mom, and felt obligated to look after her.
Not throwing any shade, just thought it needed to be mentioned. That is what I think is great about Come Home. Some things about the story lines will hit you on a personal level, unexpectedly.
