Worm rod and Kindling

How do I get worm box and worms for worm rod? Also Kindling for making fire? Where is that found?

To get worms, you need a jar and a shovel. You can find them in the tool shack at home, or buy them from the store.
I dug up my worms behind the player's house. After you drop the dirt from the shovel and bring the jar close to the dirt pile, you can search it and put the worms in the jar.
I don't think putting on a lid does anything, but I'd use it either way :)

Also regarding the kindling, I put firewood and ripped some of the split logs for bark and tried to light them up with a lighter...... didn't work. I guess you have use fuel to ignite.........

No need for fuel. Equip a split log to get bark, put the bark in the fireplace between the logs and light with matches or lighter.

Thanks, neither was intuitive. I had an idea with the worms.. but you have to crouch to search.. As for the bark I had no idea!

If I remember correctly: Equip the worm rod, look at the can holding the worms and select "attach worm".

Edit: Correction, it says "take worm". Then it just appears on the hook.
