I got kalevi his kilju but when i go talk to him he asks if i got it and when i say yes he just walks away and the convo stops (same goes if i answer with no)

You have to carry the bucket / hold the bucket of Kilju and walk towards Kalevi. Then it should complete.

it says i have 6.8L of kilju in BUcket 98 percent full could that affect?
