Thanks for your feedback! We have passed this onto our team.
It'd be much better if we could rejoin over the AI that kicks us an etc, but instead the most punitive thing happens because the game kicks you for inactivity while being very active.
No, as it's not a personal matter of being to slow for the timer.
It's a match ruining bug with the timer that happens in online matches,
It's really what this thread poster Blatant is talking about,
as well as BONECRUSHER's "Got time kicked due to animations" topic
The timer can in a lot of instances bug and be incorrectly counting down during animations, And not resetting the players turn timer when the player is actively playing.
Animations like the victory lvl up, & treasure opening animation start to feel very long when the turn timer is ticking away as they're showing.
I've seen the timer for the beginning of an human players turn start ticking down during the end turn animations of an AI too, Appearing like the timer isn't fully pausing while players are watching animations.
Hope this explanation helps with understanding the problem "^=^",
As well as fixing the timer bug it'd be nice to have this :=),
I don't dislike the animations, I've just seen them a ton! lol.
